This is a sample article. It shows how a House of Mohali Journal piece will look, and it will be replaced by original writing before launch. Nothing here is a real interview, quotation or published work.

The finished piece will look at brick as the material of a city: how it ages, how it holds heat and memory, and why the walls we grew up beside still shape the way we think about home.

A section heading

Journal pieces are written in Markdown. Paragraphs are separated by a blank line, and headings start with two hash marks. The article template sets the type, the measure and the spacing, so a writer only needs to write.

A pull quote sits in the editorial serif. This one is placeholder text, not a quotation from a real person.

Lists work too:

  • Short observations
  • Notes from a conversation
  • References for further reading

When real articles are ready, delete this file and add new ones in src/content/journal/.
